Price Improvement
When you are trading in fast-moving markets, we are sometimes able to give you a better price than the level you select. Our Price Improvement technology means that if the market moves to a more favourable level while opening the trade we can sometimes process the order at the better price.
When Price Improvement is implemented, your deal ticket will show how much you have saved. In the quarter July to September 2011, IG Markets' clients globally saved over £3,890,000 thanks to our Price Improvement technology.
Customisable interface
Because every trader has unique requirements of a platform, we have made the PureDeal interface fully customisable. To alter the layout, simply click and drag the menu boxes, which include the Finder, Open Positions, Prices and Watchlists. You can use Watchlists to keep tabs on the markets you trade, with the ability to create as many as ten Watchlists.
Easy searching
Thanks to our directory tree layout and predictive search function, it’s easy to find exactly the market you are looking for within seconds. To search for a market, simply start typing the name and PureDeal will track down what you are looking for. Alternatively, if you are simply browsing, you can click through the directory tree to see our entire range of markets.
One-click dealing
You can view the Prices menu either as a list or as pairs showing the Buy and Sell prices. In pairs view you can use one-click dealing to bypass the need for a Deal Ticket – when you see the price you want, just click and it’s yours. This feature can be activated or deactivated in the My Account section of PureDeal and is not available on all account types.
Charts
Our sophisticated real-time charts package gives you live information on any market, whenever you need it. You can draw trend lines and annotate charts you're interested in, and save the details for future reference. You can also apply detailed analysis techniques with a range of major technical indicators, from MACD and RSI to Bollinger Bands.
FX Spreads
Our FX spreads change throughout the day so we can keep giving you the tightest spreads available. When the FX spread hits our minimum value, we will keep it there for an extended period to maximise your opportunity to place a trade.
Streaming Account Information
We keep you in the know about your account with real-time streaming figures. Keep track of your profit and loss, cash balance and margins in PureDeal’s at-a-glance panel.
Tear-off deal tickets
Waiting for the right price? You can tear off your deal tickets and line them up on another screen; keeping an eye on the markets until you’re ready to trade.
Working Orders
You can leave orders to execute with us. We’ll open your trade at the level you set so that you don’t need to constantly monitor your screen waiting for the price you want.
Stops and Limits
Lock in profits with Limit Orders and manage your risk through Stops. The more experienced trader can choose to use Trailing Stops to automatically move your stop towards the market as the market moves in your favour.
