GPRS Configuration
To connect to our Mobile service, you need to have GPRS enabled on your phone. If you don't have GPRS, please contact your mobile phone supplier who will be able to help.
Networks
Most mobile suppliers (including Orange and Vodafone) also allow you to manage your account online, and you can enable GPRS via their websites. Please note that our service is not generally compatible with 'pay as you go' contracts.
Common settings
The GPRS settings that you should use on your phone vary by manufacturer and network provider. Once logged in, the GPRS configurator provides access to settings for many different countries, networks and devices. We have attempted to summarise these below, but please contact us if you have any problems or require further information.

Do I have GPRS?
To see if you have GPRS enabled, open the Control Panel (accessed via the Application menu) and select the Connections tab at the bottom of the screen.
Then select the Internet accounts item from the menu, and ensure the Accounts tab at the bottom of the screen is selected. If you are enabled for GPRS, you should see a 'world' icon and a GPRS internet account listed (if you use Orange, for example, you will see 'Orange GPRS').
Signal strength
The GPRS signal strength is independent of the normal voice signal strength. These are always indicated at the bottom left of the phone's screen. The voice signal strength is indicated by the series of green bars and the GPRS signal is shown by an inverted blue triangle above this.
Settings
Within the Connections area of the Control Panel, the Preferred menu on the Accounts tab should be set to the name of your GPRS account. The Preferred Mode menu on the Other tab should be set to Automatic.
BlackBerry phones
In order for the application to run successfully on BlackBerry devices you will need to ensure that the correct settings are configured, as detailed below. Please note that if you are using a corporate BlackBerry you may not have access to these settings. If this is the case please see the Troubleshooting page.
