The benefits of DMA

Because you can view market depth, rather than simply the best bid and offer prices for a particular share, using DMA lets you compare buying and selling interests. This allows you to judge liquidity on both sides of the order book and time your orders accordingly.

When trading with Direct Market Access, any order you place will be visible to other traders who can then choose to buy or sell at the level of your order. This flexibility means you are effectively able to trade directly with other market participants. For example, you may sometimes be able to place an order to buy at a price inside the market spread and have your order filled by someone else looking to sell at that level.

With Direct Market Access you have the option of using a number of different order types to ensure you get the size you want, at the level you require and within the timeframe you choose.

Finally, our Direct Market Access platforms also give you access to pre- and post-market auctions where you may find more favourable prices.
